Geforce 970 and Witcher 3

Some people said in Witcher 3 the real problems with GTX970 will surface, how many have 970? Do you experience huge performance degradation?

I have 2 x gtx 970's and im not woried about a thing they have easly gotten though every game ive thrown at them and witcher 3 will be no different

970 without Hairworks @ 1080p High-Ultra AA x2 you will be around 50-60FPS. This was from a Geforce News Article about it.

2x 970 for Ultra @ 1080p /w Hairworks/Gameworks

970 should'nt be a problem! high textures = max texture quality with 2gb vram limit and ultra is the same but without limit.

does hairworks even matter anyway? all it seems is a huge performance hog.i mean im not that worried anyway my 970 is the FTW edtion so its a tad bit better than a stocked one so i might be ok with it on but i doubt ill even use

NVIDIA just came out with new drivers optimised just for Witcher.

Do you really care if the 'fur' moves like it would in real life? I've played games my whole life without Hairworks, so i think ill be fine for 1 more game. But some of the GamesWorks are really neat. Wonder if you got a 780 Ti or something, and use it as a dedicated Game/Hairworks sort of like an independent PhysX card.

im sure ill be close to max settings with my 970. Now with the gameworks stuff i will probably run into issues. maybe 20-30 FPS area

Just get the bald head mod and you should have no probs!

All physics in witcher 3 is CPU dependant
