Running Witcher 3 on Nvidia GTX 580?

Hey guys, just wanted to see if i'll be able to run Witcher 3 on my current graphics card? My GTX 580 currently runs GTA V on high settings but only if it's not in 1920 x 1080. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

what are you talknig about running on 580. min req is gtx660. if you do run it probably under 20 fps . also if you have such as old card your CPU cannot better. i will worry your cpu is 4 cores >? I find it hard to beleive that your run GTA5 on high settings. what res. 800x600 ?

He will be fine, the 660 is just recommended because that's typically what the PS4 is compared to so I imagine that's why it's minimum. Kinda like how the 8800 was the always minimal specs when the 360 and PS3 was around.

People dont know cards these days if you can run gtav you should be fine with Witcher 3

Well according to benchmarks a GTX 580 is better than a GTX 660.

Each game isnt made the same .GTA 5 and TW3 arent even made on the same engine. also the texture , lighting , hairworks etc.. its so dumb. one day one of you idiots will learn it the hard way.

A 580 is on par with a 660 genius.

580 is stronger than a 660. 580 is around a 670 now your vram will require you to turn things down.

yes correct, that 580 is still a decent card still. I think this kid MKX just sees it as a number in serires and thinks it's an "old card" when it's still actually decent.

580 doesnt run with 2 gb. this card will run the game badly. and as for gtx660 as min its probably run low ♥♥♥♥ low . not even worth to play games at such ♥♥♥♥ level.

Some people don't care as long as they can play the game, with like 30 fps.
