How do the requirements compare to GTA V?

My computer isn't high-end, but I can play GTA V on high-ultra at a fairly decent framerate. So I'm curious how well I'll be able to run The Witcher 3.

For anyone that feels like giving a more in depth opinion, here's what's in my computer:

Intel i5 4690k Devil's Canyon
Sapphire Radeon R9 280 Dual-X
8 GB of RAM

Nobody knows, it's more demanding than GTA 5 for sure. Your specs look decent tho.

Does no-one know how much more demanding? The Witcher 3 is definitely prettier, but they're both high-end games in a humongous open world.

gtx 5 is very easy to max out 1080p with even gtx 760 .not sure if TW3 will be the same.

You'll be able to run most settings on high. Don't worry about it. If FPS doesn't matter, you might even put some things on ultra. You'll be able to run this game perfectly.

its not totally open world like GTA V it's more like large (and i mean very large, skyrim like) areas for the player to move freely about in. I think with your rig you will be able to play it at med/high at the very least with a stable framerate

Here is hoping its well optimized
