Witcher 3 - Dungeons
Hi guys,

a friend of mine got a question while skyping.
In TES:Skyrim (for example) you run around in the world exploring, doing
your ♥♥♥♥ and minding your own business. And now and then you just find
a dungeon and explore the sh** out of it. Some of them are basic, some
are bigger and some are really huge and got a surprising big story inside itself.

So, ignoring the loadscreen (since the witcher mostly wont have those), anyone
here knows if there will be 'real' dungeons in Witcher 3?
And if yes, will they be just a cave here and there, or a bigger cave with a bandits
nest inside or might even a ruin beneath the surface with half or even an entire
hour of content to explore and checkout?

Thanks in advance!

What is a real dungeon?

Dungeons aren't in caves. Dungeons aren't natural they are man made.

We don't know because none of us have the game!!! However, based on the 1 &2 ones, there are caves, albeit not as much as Skyrim. The caves in Skyrim are very generic anyways.

with there being 100hrs of gameplay i have to believe theres going to be a good amount of dungeons/caves.

Well from watching the stream it seems like some caves might be pretty big, but I don't expect there to be anything like skyrim ruins.

Dungeon isn't to be taken literally. I mean are there greater storys to experience out of the basic 'greater citys' and 'event camps' spread over the map? Like the sunken dwemer ruins in TES:Skyrim (still just an example, not trying to say Skyrim > Witcher 3, even tough Skyrim was awesome I am disappointed of it) where you just wanted to take out the bandits camp and suddenly behind their tends is an entrance to a tower leading into a huge ruin with a story about 'insert interesting loot here' and a exploring group that got killed entirely trying to retrieve the loot? Are there things like this in Witcher 3 or are most of them bound to quests given by NPCs in citys or met along the way?

Dude, stop asking these stupid questions. What part of "we don't have the game and we don't know" do you not understand?

There are people online that spent >10 hours in the game. Many of them - and not all of them are limited to a language that, to me, just looks like runes and numbers. And some people online claim to have "finished" the game already giving a conclusion about W3 and its content which, at least, sounds plausible.
And just because 99% of the community cant play till official release the other 1% may cant be spreading this kind of information.
