Colour fix: less vibrant, more "nordic" (sweetfx)
Hi everyone, I just started the game and i noticed that the colours were too saturated, too warm and too "orange" as we were in the f***** tropics. Then I tried some of the popular presets, but IMO they were just screwing up the graphics exaggerating with the tools, so i decided to make a very light preset for sweetfx, that makes the colours less vibrant, adds a bit of contrast and does not impact on performance.

I'm not a modder but I know something about photography, so i applied my knowledge to make the game look better for me.

OR... I could turn the color down a little bit on my monitor. Hey, look at that, it's perfect now.
yes, there are plenty of other ways to turn down the colors
also i am using the cutscene lightning mod, which is way better than some random sweetfx

Of course you can change the monitor settings, but this way you don't need to change them every time you start the game... anyway i made this for me, and i just wanted to share if someone other were interested... there's no need to be sarcastic : )

The cutscenes mod IMO adds too much contrast.

In Nordic countries, the colors are pretty regular. Not sure how you're gonna make it nordic.
excellent idea and thanks for posting!

That's the point, in the vanilla game, everything is too saturated, for example near the rivers the sand is so orange That it seems to be at the tropics. I just fixed the colours to be more "normal" and not exaggerated.
Anyway this is only what I think it should be...
