Why is Yennefer mad at geralt?
Possible spoilers. So I decided to romance Triss, and now Yennefer who previously didn't give a damn about Geralt, all of a sudden throws him into a lake. I haven't read the books or played Witcher 1 or 2 but I have watched some of Witcher 2 and in that as well Geralt's main romance choice is Triss. I read on the forums and everybody said that Yennefer was perfect for Geralt, because Triss always hid things from him but Yennefer is doing the same. Can some lore experts tell me why? Also, what order should I read the books? I heard some haven't been translated to english yet so it is confusing and I can't find anything on the internet.

Yennefer is the best person suited for Geralt. She may be ♥♥♥♥♥♥... but most sorcereress are... sinply because most of them were treated horribly before becoming sorcerers since many were deformed. She has the personality closest to Geralts but they still remain opposites, Yen is surprisingly truthful whereas Geralt lies frequently, Yen does whatever to get what she wants, Geralt has moral limits. But they both want to protect Ciri and would do anything for her, Triss wouldn't.

Triss in the books and games is more than deceitful in her own right. She told the Lodge about Ciri, she has taken advantage of Geralts amnesia to have a relationship with him, despite frequent rejection in the books and she did nothing to help save him when he was killed. She is also Yens friend... and well you just don't try and get with your friends ex. Damn.

Plus Triss has almost nothing in common with Geralt. Geralt has frequently said in the games and books he does not like balls and fancy things. Both Yen and Geralt just want to be away from all the political things and be left alone with each other.

Also someone said Geralt asked Triss to help because he trusted her more... that's wrong. He asked her to help because he didn't want to ask Yennefer despite knowing she could do more, even Triss confirms Geralt knew he'd need Yen and was avoiding her. Which he was doing because he walked out on her randomly because he is an unsupportive douche, she wanted tl reverse her infertility as she desperately wanted a child. She also spends longer with Ciri and despite being tortured for a year or so, refuses to help the baddy find Ciri after yelling at for Ciri to run when they were captured, knowing Geralt would come for her. ^_^ Twue Wuv.
I agree with your point of view ! :)

Okay so lets clear some stuff up in this game.

Everyone who thinks that Yenn is a ♥♥♥♥♥ in the game needs to understand that you are NOT the center of attention to her. Her missing daughter is. Her daughter is missing, and you can't just go "well yeah, but pay attention to meeeeeee." She has no time to coddle you. She may be a ♥♥♥♥♥ to you, but in my opinion she has every right to be salty about you going with Triss...

Triss was Yenns best friend. But guess what? That didn't stop her from being a little slut and using Geralts amnesia to trick him into thinking he and her were in-love. One, Yenn is in love with Geralt. So imagine how you would feel if your best friend basically took away the love of your life knowing how that would hurt you...That would hurt you...And two, it's even worst knowing that Triss took advantage of Geralt just to please herself.

So go with who you want to in the end. Geralts of conscience mind when he does it. But don't be butthurt when Yenn treats you like ♥♥♥♥ when Both Geralt, the love of her life, and Triss, her best friend who knows he is the love of her life, ends up together and Yenn is left alone.

I ended up choosing to have Geralt sleep with everyone else except Yen and Triss, not knowing the consequences for the end game.. And I am glad I got that particular ending.

I would choose Triss though, Redheads all the way

Team Yenn, all the way. When I started out with TW3 I was pretty "Triss is awesome" not having read the books and having no real concept of Yenn's character, but as soon as the story started going something about Yenn and Geralt's circumstances, it just made a connection there. By the time I got to the Djinn quest I was freaking out terrified she was going to say goodbye after the spell was broke, I probably would have been devastated.

It starts in the beginning, as far as we know, all sorceresses were given and trained to be sorceresses because they were born with some physical abnormality clubbed foot, hunchback etc.,so they were rejected by society to be marrrageable because they couldn't work. I know you know this already. So they all had attitude which is quite understandable, then with their new found power, they're supposed to help people who could have treated them badly. Triss and Yennefer supposedly best friends,Triss belongs to the sorceresses Lodge and Yennefer doesn't,but Sile' De Tannerserville in Witcher 2 said all the sorceresses keep in contact with each other . Right from their first meeting, Yennefer started testing Geralt ,then the Wild Hunt captured them and Geralt is left in care of Triss, so to speak, with amnesia ,to me they rather seduced each other and then Yennefer had her fling. What do you call that ? I call it a hot mess! hehehe Geralt's amnesia is gone, Yennefer's alive, Ciri's in trouble, Geralt's sorting out his feelings and the quests begin. The problem I have with Yennefer is not making contact with Geralt sooner, she could have found out about him through the other sorceresses, they would have told her about the amnesia and that's why he didn't try to find her also seems like she would have double checked Triss also. As far as Yennefer's attitude, her background says it all, test everyone and trust no one. Maybe, let one person come in behind the wall,Geralt, not counting Ciri as a mother, daughter relationship. Geralt's the only one that could understand her and deal with her.

Sorry for my english...
I read all the saga and play the 3 games.
First: Geralt is not a idiot. that act as a lamb for woman. The first page of the first book (the short storys collections). Is not randonmily there. It's a scene where Geralt make sex with a girl. There, the writer shows that Geralt let the woman express her self to get the full of her in the relationship. He is a man near 100 years old, not a teeneger.
In the saga, Geralt tell us that all witches are outcasted children with serious image problems. They enhaced theyr apperence too control and seduce man. but Geralt can see through it and love then as they are. So its why all sorceres fall in love for him after sleep with him.
He fell in love with Yennefer in first sight, before the genie, even knowing her real apperence (hump etc).
Yennefer has serious childhood problems. Read the part of The tower of swallow where Yennefer talk with sigfrieda in Skellige. The only savation for Yennefer is give up "her precious magic", cause, as Vilgefortz told to the witcher in Thanned Island, to a sorcerer control a energy he have to be as one with this type of energy. So chaos energy like blood magic, mind control, necromancy etc. make the sorcerer enter in a spiral of chãos by him self.
It's not random that Yennefer make the necromancy , in witcher 3, in that place. Ws there that Yennefer talk with sigfdrieda.
The love of Geralt and the patience with Yennefer transform her throught the saga. In the final, she makes the most heroic act in the clímax of the saga.
And who is Triss in the saga: a ♥♥♥♥♥. Before Yennefer go to sacrifice herself in the said clímax, she contact Triss begging that Triss tell the truth to Geralt about her cause she dont want die knowing Geralt hates her. But SURPRISE: Triss is the little lover of Phillipa and refuse to do taht cause the lodge want that Geralt hate Yennefer forever and be free to other witch manipule-te him.
(Tower of Swallow)
The brilliant beam of light, broken by the diamond, flashed on the surface of the mirror. Yennefer stretched out both hands and began chanting a spell. The blindingly bright light reflected and concentrated into a fog. Soon a picture began to emerge. The image of a room whose walls were covered with colourful tapestries.
A movement at the window. And a troubled voice. ‘Who? Who's there?’
‘I'm here, Triss.’
‘Yennefer! That you? Gods! How did... Where are you?’
‘It does not matter where I am. Do not block the image, because the picture varies. And take away that candle, its blinding.’
‘Right. Of course.’
Although it was late at night, Triss Merigold was wearing neither lingerie nor her work clothes. She wore a dress for going out. As usual, high collared and closed.
‘Can we talk freely?’
‘Of course.’
‘You're alone?’
‘Yes.’
‘You're lying.’
‘Yennefer...’
‘You are deceiving me, brat. I know your face; I know you too well. It’s the same look you had when you started sleeping with Geralt behind my back. Back then you put on the same sheepish, innocent mask that I see on your face now. And it means the same thing now that it meant back then!’
Triss was red. Philippa Eilhart appeared in the window next to her, dressed in a dark blue men’s jerkin. ‘Bravo,’ she said. ‘As usual, quick. As usual, perceptive. As usual, hard to grasp and understand. I am glad to see you in health, Yennefer. I am happy that your crazy teleportation from Montecalvo did not end in tragedy.’
‘Let's assume that you really are happy.’ Yennefer pouted. ‘Although that is a very bold assumption. But never mind that, who betrayed me?’
Philippa shrugged her shoulders. ‘Does it matter? For four days now you’ve been in contact with traitors. To such as them, venality and treachery are second nature. And to those that you have blackmailed to betrayal. One of them has betrayed you. The normal course of events. Don't tell me you didn't expect it.’
‘Of course I expected it,’ snapped Yennefer. ‘The best proof of that is that I've contacted you. I did not have to.’
‘You did not have to. This means that you have an agenda.’
‘Bravo. As usual, quick. As usual, perceptive. I have contacted you to assure you that the secret of your Lodge is safe with me. I will not tell on you.’
Philippa stared at her from under lowered eyelids. ‘If you believe,’ she said finally, ‘that you've won peace, time, or security with this declaration, then you've miscalculated. Make no mistake about it, Yennefer. When you fled from Montecalvo, you made your decision. You chose to stand on a different side of the barricade. If you are not with the Lodge, you are against the Lodge. Now you're trying to forestall us from finding Ciri, and the motives that guide you are opposed to ours. You act against us. You do not want to allow us to use Ciri for our political purposes. You should know that we will also do everything in our power to make sure that you cannot use the girl for your sentimental purposes.’
‘So its war?’
‘Competition.’ Philippa smiled toxically. ‘Competition only, Yennefer.’
‘Decent and honourable?’
‘You must be joking.’
‘Obviously. Though on at least one specific issue, I would like have an honest and genuine conversation. And incidentally it involves a favour to me.’
‘Speak.’
‘Over the next few days, maybe even tomorrow, events will occur whose consequences I cannot foresee. It may happen that our competition and rivalry suddenly has no meaning. For the simple reason that one of the competitors will not be there anymore.’
Philippa Eilhart narrowed her blue shaded eyes. ‘I understand.’
‘Ensure that I posthumously gain back my reputation and good name. I will no longer be held for a traitor or an accomplice of Vilgefortz. I ask this of the Lodge. I ask this of you personally.’
Philippa was silent for a moment.
‘I deny your request,’ she said finally. ‘I'm sorry, but your exoneration is not in the interest of the Lodge. If you die, you die a traitor. You'll be a traitor and criminal to Ciri, because then it will be easier to manipulate the girl.’
‘Before you do something that could be fatal,’ Triss said suddenly, ‘leave something behind for us...’
‘A will?’
‘Something that allows us to... continue. To find Ciri. Because we are primarily concerned for her health! For her life! Yennefer, Dijkstra has found some traces of... some traces of certain activities have been found. If Vilgefortz does have Ciri, then the girl faces a horrible death.’
‘Be quiet, Triss,’ Philippa Eilhart hissed sharply. ‘We are not trading or bargaining.’
‘I will leave you the information’, Yennefer said slowly. ‘I'll leave you the information on what I've found and what I plan. I’ll leave a trail you can follow to her. But not in vain. If you will not facilitate my exoneration in the eyes of the world, then to hell with you and with the world. But at least grant me exoneration in the eyes of the witcher.’
‘No,’ Philippa denied the request almost instantly. ‘That is also not in the interest of the Lodge. You will also remain a traitor and a mercenary sorceress to your witcher. It is not in the interest of the Lodge for him to furiously attempt to avenge you. If he despises you, he will not attempt to take revenge. By the way, he's probably already dead or will die any day now.’
‘The information’ Yennefer said dully, ‘for his life. Save him, Philippa.’
‘No, Yennefer.’
‘Because it's not in the interest of the Lodge.’ A purple fire kindled in the sorceress’ eyes. ‘Did you hear that Triss? There, you have your Lodge. You see their true colours, their true interests. And what do you think of them? You were a mentor to the girl, almost – as you put it – a big sister. And Geralt...’
‘Do not attack Triss’ relationships, Yennefer.’ Philippa retaliated with her own fire in her eyes. ‘We will find and rescue the girl without your help. And if you succeed, that's fine, a thousand thanks, because you will have saved us the trouble. You tear the girl out of the hands of Vilgefortz and we will be happy. And Geralt? Who cares about Geralt?’
‘Did you hear that, Triss?’
‘Forgive me,’ said Triss Merigold dully. ‘Forgive me, Yennefer.’
‘Oh no, Triss. Never.’

And now, about the game.

In witcher 3, there's 2 books key to understand what happens with Yennefer and Letho in Nilfgaard. The horse whispers (or some thing like) and a book about gollens in a house in novigrad. Yennefer is mind controled. Just like Vilgefortz make with her in the saga (The lady of the lake):

"Vilgefortz has as an assassin?" "Yes. To prove our trust, gentlemen, I will tell you who it is. The sorceress Yennefer, who we’ve imprisoned." "Imprisoned? I've heard that Yennefer worked with Vilgefortz willingly." "She is his prisoner. Bewitched and hypnotized, programmed like a golem, she will execute the assassination. Then she will commit suicide." "Some magical witch doesn’t quite suit me," said the one who extended the syllables, extending them even more out of sheer disgust. "A hero would be better, a blazing champion of an idea, an avenger ..." "An avenger" interrupted Skellen. "Fits like a glove, Mr. Leuvaarden. Yennefer will avenge the suffering that was inflicted by the tyrant. Emhyr has persecuted and driven to death her girl, an innocent child. This cruel tyrant, this pervert, has persecuted and murdered children instead of taking care of empire. Therefore, he will be overtaken by the avenging hand ...” "I", announced Ardal aep Dahy’s bass voice, "I like it very well." "Me too," agreed to Joachim De Wette.

*****
in the game 3, its explained by the 2 books how the mesmerizerd yennefer and why not control her like a zumbi, but live her some autonomy (golem book)

The same was made with letho. In witcher 2 , in the final, letho tells about a Young mage the was allways presente in the interregotion, with "no violence" (like the horse whisper book)

In the first meeting between Yennefer and G, she say with proud the full tilte of emyr like a puppet. In the temerian palace she talks about how beautfull is the nilfgaard clothes in wicher.
And Yennefer and Frigilla! Yennefer hates Fringilla! Herviolet eyes is cause Fringilla blind her in sodden. And Fringilla sleep with Geralt! Than a letter with "Dear friend"??? The lodge allways knows where Yennefer was, including Triss. Sile tells Geralt in the final of witcher 2.

In the Fringilla mission, Geralt give a letter from Yennefer to Emyr. In the letter, Yennefer says about give up the most important thing (the magic). Emyr dont know, but is her only salvation.

WhenYennefer tells Geralt about the genie, and Geralt rher diary in Skelige, she tells about start to have a constant thouth about find a genie and that she by chance a book about the said genie the libary of Emyr.... cameon it was planted in her mind cause they want to make her believe that Geralt dont love her, make a wedge bettwen them.
I can write about triss working with salamandar in witcher 1 (salamandra = nilfgaarAll the plan was to make the witcher (in witcher 3) make tyhe dirty work for nilfgaarand and avallach (soft vele novigrad and skellige.) Why Yennefer choose to influence the daughther of crach? better for nilfgaard plan.
In novigrad if you choose the let triss kill the spy after got the info bout dandelion, and you by chance look too the "dead" spy, you will find out that triss faked it and he is alive.
In witcher 2, aftyer the rose of rememberance, triss beg Geralt to stay, offerina little house in the middle of nowhere... (the final with yennefer in withcher 3) but if you take triss in witcher 3, you end in a big house like a little dog of her. This house i nowhere is his deepest dream. In thanned island., after making lve with Yennefer, he knows that their connection was even stronger, so he starts to think in pleasure thing to make her a nice gesture. But incidentally, he though about the hut and realise it.
I can tell you about the little song that a drunk sings when Geralt first met Triss in novigrad. The drunk is in a stair and is a hint of what espect. Geralt with he choose triss.
Yennefer gradually free her self of the mesmerize until she betray avallach getting ciri to his secret lab.
Finally, the final proof of the love of her. In the saga, Vilgefortz expect to locate ciri through yennefer (inprisioned)cause his machine will find who she most love. He cant find Ciri, but Geralt.
Remember that the game was realised before the entire saga was translated to english, so they have to omit some things to not spoiller. In the final of the saga Ciri and Yennefer love eache other with no grudge.

[MRC] Musashi Feb 3, 2016 @ 3:16am
One last thing, the saga is about political intrigue and most important thing is: all that you read as "its happening now" is true! but all that you read that is tell through a history book, a song etc in distorced or semi thuth. So this happen in the game too. Remenber that who narrate the game is Dandelion.... so he flourish the truth and even dont know all the reality.
ps: lol Avallach is a true son of ... he shows how to mind control when he makes ciri read the thing in the final of witcher 3 ("i give you my heart and you give me your head"....) and than he says "geralt , break your sword" and ciri dont even blink.
And the Young and proud mage that leshed letho and yennefer is the same that leshed Cynthia...
enough... lol

[MRC] Musashi Feb 3, 2016 @ 3:41am
I swear its my final word lol:

The wil hunt take yennefer, cause they think ciri would give up her self for yennefer. So they realised that ciri loves more geralt and make the Exchange. As Avallach tells geralt in the other other plane, ciri fight to free geralt (in fact she surrender) . Geralt was free, but avallach betrail the new king of the hunt and got ciri for himself, cause he thinks that from the beginig he was the deserved owner of the power within ciri (her grangrangrangran...mother was to be his wife but take a human....). Geralt is metioned in the ithiline profeci (time of the White Wolf etc)...Its not random that nilfgaard talks Elder speath... so the final of the game that avallach looses is ciri take the witcher way and geralt choose yennefer.

i was lying... lol

(the tower of the swallow)
‘Yennefer.’
She lifted her head suddenly.
It was dark in the temple. It smelled strongly of smoke.
‘Did I fall asleep? Forgive me...’
‘There is nothing to forgive. Come with me.’
Outside, the sky flashed with flickering lights that were changing like a kaleidoscope. Northern Lights? Yennefer rubbed her eyes in surprise. Aurora Borealis? In August?
‘How much will you sacrifice Yennefer?’
‘What?’
‘Are you willing to sacrifice yourself? Your priceless magic?’
[...]
‘Sigrdrifa,’ she said angrily. ‘Do not try these hackneyed tricks with me. I'm ninety-four years old. But please, do not treat that as a confession. I trust you just to let you know that
you cannot treat me like a child.’
‘You have not answered my question.’
‘And I will not. Because I do not agree with this mysticism. I fell asleep at your service. I got bored. Because I do not believe in your goddess.’
Sigrdrifa turned around, and Yennefer involuntarily took a very deep breath.
‘Your disbelief is not too flattering for me’, said the woman, whose eyes were full of liquid gold. ‘But does your disbelief do anything?’
The only action Yennefer could take was to exhale.
‘A time will come,’ said the golden-eyed woman, ‘when no one, absolutely no one except children will believe in witches. I say this to be deliberately malicious. As revenge. Let's go.’
‘No...’ Yennefer was finally able to break through the passive inhalation and exhalation. ‘No! I will not go anywhere. Enough! This is an enchantment or hypnosis. An illusion! A trance! I have trained defence mechanisms... I can let everything be scattered with only a saying, oh yes! Damn...’
The golden-eyed woman approached. The diamond on her necklace flared like the morning star.
‘Your language gradually ceases to serve mutual understanding,’ she said. ‘It is art for art's sake, all the more incomprehensible, the deeper and wiser you try to be. Really, you would do better to say nothing but ‘ah-ah’ and ‘gu-gu’. Come on.’
‘It's an illusion, a trance... I will not go anywhere!’
‘I will not force you. That would be shameful. You're an intelligent, proud girl. Have character.’
A plain. A sea of grass. Heath. A rock that rises from the heather like the back of a lurking predator.
‘You have asked for my jewel, Yennefer. I cannot give it to you, not without making sure of certain things beforehand. I want to see what's inside you. That's why I brought you here, to this place, which has been a place of knowledge and power from time immemorial. Your priceless magic is supposed to be everywhere. All you have to do is reach out for it. Are you afraid to stretch for it?’
Yennefer could not bring any sound out of her constricted throat.
‘The power to change the world cannot be named,’ said the woman, ‘Yet you recognize chaos, art, and science? Curses, blessings, and progress? But coincidentally not faith? Love? Sacrifice?
Are you listening? The rooster Kambi crows. The wave hits the shore, the bow wave of
Naglfar. Hemdall will sound his horn on the rainbow Bifrost for those who would face the enemy. It is the white cold, the storm winds, and blowing snow... The ground shakes from the violent movements of the snake...
The wolf swallows the sun. The moon is black. There is only cold and darkness. Hatred, revenge, and blood...
Whose side will you choose, Yennefer? Will you be at the eastern or the western edge of Bifrost? Will you be with Hemdall or against him?
The rooster Kambi crows.
Make up your mind Yennefer. Make your choice. For one once gave you life so that you could make your choice at the right moment.
Light or dark?’
‘Good and evil, light and dark, order and chaos? These are just symbols, but in reality there is no such polarity! Light and darkness are in each, a little of this and a little of that. This conversation is pointless. Pointless. I'm not going to convert to mysticism. For you or for the wolf that devours the sun, Sigrdrifa. For me, this is an eclipse. And so it should remain.’
‘Remain? How?’
She felt the earth slip away under her feet, felt the monstrous force twist her arms and break the joints in her shoulders and elbows, felt the vortex as the Strappado-Torture stretched. She screamed in pain, writhing, opening her eyes. No, this was no dream. This could be no dream. She was on a tree, hanging crucified on the branches of a huge ash tree. Above her, high up, a hawk circled, and on the ground in the darkness she heard a hissing snake, the rustle of her rubbing against other joints.
Something moved beside her. Next to her arm was a stretched and anguished squirrel.
‘Are you ready now?’ Asked the squirrel. ‘Are you willing to sacrifice? What are you willing to sacrifice?’
‘I have nothing!’ The pain blinded and paralyzed her. ‘And even if I had anything I do not believe in the meaning of such sacrifice! I do not want to suffer for millions! I do not want to suffer at all! For anybody!’
‘No one wants to suffer. But that is the fate of each. And some suffer more. Not necessarily of their own volition. It's not about to enduring the suffering. It's about how you endure it.’

***
Jana! Janchen!
Take this hunchbacked monster away from me! I do not want to see it!
This is your daughter, just like mine.
Really? The children I have fathered are normal.
How dare you insinuate... to...
There were sorceresses in your elven family. You aborted your first pregnancy. It follows that your elf blood and womb are spoiled, woman. Why do you bring this monster into the world?
This unfortunate child... This was the will of the gods! This is your daughter, just like mine! What should I do? Strangle her? Tie off the umbilical cord? What do want from me? To go into the forest and leave her there? What do you want from me, by the gods?
Dad! Mama!
Go away, you monster.
How dare you? How dare you to hit the child? Stop? Where are you going? Where? To her, yes? To her!
Indeed, woman. I am a man, I can appease my desire where I want, when I want. This is my birthright. And you make me sick. You and the fruit of your correspondingly degenerate belly . Do not wait for dinner. I will not come back tonight.
Mama...
Why are you crying?
Why did you hit me and push me away? I was good...
Mama! Dear Mama!

***
‘Are you able to forgive?’
‘I have long since forgiven.’
‘After you avenged only too well.’
‘Yes.’
‘Are you sorry?’
‘No.’
***

Pain, terrible pain that ate away her hands and fingers.
‘Yes, I'm guilty! Did you hear that? Confession and repentance? Did you hear how Yennefer of Vengerberg repented and humbled herself? No, I do not do this favour for you. I confess my sins and I expect the punishment. But I will not beg you for mercy!’
The pain reached the limits of what can a person could endure.
‘You reminded me of the betrayed, the duped, the exploited, you reminded me of he who died by his own hand, by my hand... The fact that I once laid hands on myself? I obviously had reasons! And I have no regrets! And even if I could turn back time... I have no regrets.’
The hawk perched on her shoulder. The Tower of the Swallow. The Tower of the Swallow. Hasten to the Tower of the Swallow. Daughter.
***

The rooster Kambi crows.
***

Ciri on a black mare, her gray hair blowing in the gallop. Blood flows and gushes from her face, a bright, vivid red. The black mare rises like a bird glides smoothly over the beams of the arch. Ciri sways in the saddle, but does not fall...
Ciri in the middle of the night, amidst a wilderness of rock and sand, with raised hands, from her hands shoots out a glowing sphere... A unicorn, pawing in the gravel with his hoof... Many unicorns... Fire... Fire...
Geralt on a bridge. In a fight. In a fire. The flames reflected on his sword blade.
Fringilla Vigo, her green eyes wide open with lust, her dark, close-cropped head on an open book, on the frontispiece... You can see a fragment of the title: Reflections on the
Inevitable Death of...
Geralt's eyes reflected in the eyes of Fringilla.
An abyss. Smoke. A flight of stairs that leads down. A flight of stairs that you have to take. Something ends. Tedd Deireádh comes, the time of the end...
Darkness. Moisture. Intensely cold stone walls. The coldness of the iron on the wrists, the ankles. The pain that pulsates in tortured hands, tears at bruised fingers...
Ciri holds her hand. A long, dark corridor, stone columns, statues perhaps... Darkness. A whisper as quiet as the whisper of the wind.
Doors. An infinite number of doors with huge, heavy wings open silently in front of them. And in the end, in the impenetrable darkness, a door that does not open automatically. You may not open it.
If you are afraid, turn back.
That door mustn’t be opened. You know that.
I do.
But you're still leading me there. If you are afraid, turn back. You still have time to turn back. It's still not too late.
And you?
For me it is too late.
The rooster Kambi crows.
Tedd Deireádh has come.
The Aurora Borealis.
Light.
***
‘Yennefer. Wake up.’
She threw up her head. She looked at her hands. She had both. Salvation.
‘Sigrdrifa? I fell asleep...’
‘Come’
‘Where?’ She whispered. ‘Where to this time?’
‘What? I do not understand. You have to see. Something has happened... Something strange. None of us knows why or how this can be explained. But I can guess. The grace... You may have fallen to the grace of the goddess, Yennefer.’
‘What are you talking about, Sigrdrifa?’
‘Look.’
She looked up. And sighed loudly.
Brisingamen, the sacred jewel of Modron Freyja no longer hung on the neck of the goddess. It lay at her feet.

Umm i get the slight feeling that you are Walltexting Us a tiny Bit here am i right ???:steammocking:

These two eluded from my attention. Thanks for the text walls, they really set things clear! :)
