Triss and Yen Romance question *LITTLE TO NO SPOILERS PLEASE*

Im finishing up a few quests and contracts in Novigrad before I start the quest Now or Never. I'm just wondering if it's possible to tell Triss to stay but still romance Yen. Maybe some of you who've already have been through this part of the game could help me. Through some googling, I heard that you could get Triss to stay without saying you love her, have some fun in the lighthouse, and still romance Yen through a certain combination of dialogue options. What I know is that if you romance both you get a threesome scene and Geralt ends up forever alone. The key though that I've heard is that it's fine to do whatever you want with Triss as long as you only tell one of them that you love them. Can I get any confirmation on this?

For her to return to shore I believe at some point you have to refuse to listen to Sigi's story...Idk yet since I haven't started the quest. Just got this off of IGN.

Probably safer to just reload and say "I love you". That is actually what my strategy guide says.

The whole point of this thread was to find out a way to dabble a little with Triss but still have Yen as a romance option.

Well that seems strange, because I got the threesome with "lets try again". But I'll try it on my next playthru and reject yen this time, and see what happens.

BTW you have to do the quest "fall of house reardon" to find Letho. Youll find the questgiver in the same town where you fight fishgulper in fists of fury.

Did you finish her quest pre 1.04 or post 1.04?

That might be why, still waiting on Sero to respond to see if he/she did the quest pre or post 1.04

It seems that the fix is retroactive which explains why those who made the choice during 1.04 were still able to get with Yen during 1.05. It also claims that the dialogue has been changed and you will not be able to get the lighthouse scene if you say "Let's try again". I haven't seen any reports about the removal of the lighthouse scene if you say "Let's try again" yet and guessing by the reports of the retroactive fix, it seems that the bug has been patched. I'm gonna go see for myself now and report back for anyone else who might be curious about this issue or are holding off wondering whether or not it has been fixed with 1.05.

The patch was introduced 4 days ago I believe, do you remember finishing the game before or after that?

Yeah, I'm sorta holding off until Devs officially confirm that it has been fixed. Did you say "Let's try again" during the dialogue? Did you tell her that you loved her?

Yes it seems to be fixed. The only way Triss will reappear is if you say "I love you". Telling her "Let's try again" will still result in her leaving.

Lol so im on my third playthru.. Triss left even after I said "I love you".. Probably should have been nicer to her this time. I kissed her at the fountain but -- I said that I was too busy to help her escape novigrad, and I didn't ask about dandelion when talking to menge. Even tho she got tortured xD. Wonder if those two contribute to a "negative" triss ending #foreveralonegeralt

Im pretty sure you have to be super protective of her all the way through her questline...and say you love her by the end of all of that. I heard that what you say to Sigi matters too. I only tested the I love you, then told Sigi to bug off (or did I tell him to tell his story?). Sigi tells you to turn around and Triss is there :D.

Ultimatly though, I just went with "Let's try again" since I sorta feel bad for Triss but want Yen.

Finished it 2 days ago and I was going for Triss until she got "amnesia".

She has bloody fingers on one hand for the remainder of the Quest and is really pissed off at the witchhunters.
