I must be crazy (SPOILERS)
Stopped the bandits from killing the witch hunter. I guess if I let him get lynched, then that makes me as bad as them. I wanted to show my good side. If I can show one person that magic folk are good people, then I figured it would make a difference. Thoughts? Never read the books, but is it a "Geralt" thing to do?

Geralt died defending non-humans from a pogrom in the books. So yea, it's a Geralt thing to do to defend the underdog in any situation.

I did the same. Wanted him to sod off of course, but didn't think he deserved to die that way.

Do you mean in Rivia when a peasant ran a pitchfork through his gut and Yennifer saved him?

He wasn't really saved. Not entirely.

Yeah, Yennefer tried to save him but was dying from it. Too much drain on her or something, so Ciri took them away to some island.

It doesn't mean that Geralt has to become one. it's like in rl when it is considered wrong to be a vigiliant, even if the person deserves it.

I saved a dude from the peasants one time in Velen. Turned out he had robbed them. I only found out about it while on my way to Novigrad when he tried to kill me :(. So much for saving the innocent.

In another case I tried to save a damsel in distress and got chewed out for messing up their practice for the play :(

You can basically fight the entire city of Novigrad if you want lol. Just steal in front of the witch hunter.

Geralt already is a mass murderer. Also vigiliant argument doesn't really make sense. Just because by the law witch hunters can do whatever the ♥♥♥♥ they want doesn't mean folk shouldn't kill them in return.

Witchunter = Not innocent, go ahead, burn, stab and dismember... Feed them to the trolls or make them into dog food... Do with them as you please... That is all I have to say... No need for more posts or comments...

It's more or less a profession, albeit a ruthless one. We see this a lot with religious fanatics.

I have no problem killing a witch hunter if they pose a threat. My Geralt hates lynchings. That's why i stopped Peasants from lynching a Nilfgaardian in velen.
