Have a sign build but want to use Bear Armor?

Honestly Griffin looks like crap, and the cat and bear look the best, bear being best. While my build is a sword/agni build I really don't want to Griffin since it looks so terrible. If I use Bear or Cat will that still be okay? or will my build counter the uses of those armors?

Then use Ursine gear with your Sign build. Min/Maxing is not as important on a single player game; certainly nowhere near as important as letting you play the way you want to.

Yeah normally I don't care about cosmetics but the griffin just looks that terrible that I'm caring lol

Think there's some stuff floating around the nexus which swaps the stats and skins of the witcher armors. Might want to check there..

Use the Ursine chest peice and the Griffin Gloves/Boots/Trousers. That's what I do.

There's a mod called Griffin2Bear on nexus that switch the stats between griffin and bear armors.

The griffin armor with griffin school technique is so OP I had to stop using it. 100% burn chance for igni and I could cast it every ~2 seconds. Didn't even need a sword. I would just use the bear armor and take the reduced stamina regen. Keeps the game somewhat balanced.

my first playthrough on blodd was a sign build with Griffin armor. Seriously it didnt matter much. My signs are already so op from the Greater Blue Mutagen that all end game bosses get burst down real fast with igni.

Griffin just makes me an invincible force barely receiving any damage. The reduce stamina did not seem to bother me at all. I still cast frequently and they barely had time to recover

Guess im the only one that finds Griffin to look the best of all 3 ? Yes normal and enhanced look terribad but superior and mastercrafted look great in my opinion. Bear looks too stuff and not enough plate or mail on it. I wish there were more sets, there is a lot of armor variety in game but im guessing most people will lean toward witchers sets over everything else.
