Background Music "gone" all the sudden?

Anyone have an issue with the game simply stop playing music? Or say, entering a tavern and seeing the minstrels playing their instruments but um....there is no sound at all in the tavern?

Bump. ANyone have the music glitch out? Im not getting music anywhere atm....and its kinda....strange playing without it.

happens sometimes where it just stops for about 30 seconds, almost like it got to the end of the track and has to start over

It's happen when I play more than 2 hours. Game began unstable on little things. Such as bad pop-in NPC and losing background sound. But if I quit, refresh desktop and relaunch the game, these problem will back to normal, until I play long hours, it will happen again.

Happend to me yesterday, no music - only that in main menu. Even re-installed the game and it didn't help. But than I thought, I should be on Skellige by script and I came to Novigrad to finish some sidequests. And yes - after I returnd to the isles music came back too!

Yes, Skellige's off shore explore making the music gone. Landing on the main land, not just small ground land, the music cameback.

I have the music bug too. The one I have seems to trigger after completing a quest called kings gambit, I went to a coronation under a giant oak tree and it bugged out my music. and unfortunately I have no saves from before that point.. Now there's no music anywhere except the skellige isles and even that isn't working right, as it doesn't change when in combat. I hear bands playing on the street but not in taverns. I hope this gets fixed soon. it's pretty unplayable without the epic music

play gwent on skellige. it fixes it

confirmed. I played about 15 minutes on PC version and music and speech suddenly stopped. some sound effects are still there.

the sound did suddenly turn off, but it was because my computer suddenly decided to route audio through my ps4 paddle.

so give me the badge and ignore what I just said.

Thank you very much I had this problem in velen no man's land in the swamps it would play the depressing song in the background and wherever I went it wouldn't go away and when I went to skellige even without playing gwent it fixed it
