how do you get rid of the red force field? using aard on the illusion or whatever it is on the wall doesnt seem to work.

You need the eye of something, can't remember what it is called, you get it at the end of the quest that you are with Keira Metz.

When you do this quest you cannot remove the force field. There is another way to get in. Later in the story you will return there and it will be open.

aren't there 2 small pyramids on pedestals on opposite sides of the room? If I remember correctly usimg alt igni on both lowered the force field

yeah but one of those pyramids is blocked by an illusion for me right now
