Can't swim low enough get treasure.

Okay, I really like this game but the swimming SUCKS.

As if the rigid up/down/left/right and no angles swimming wasn't restrictive enough - I've found an underwater cave just off the north east coast of Larvik in eastern Skellige and there is a chest inside it, but you can't swim low enough to interact with it. The dive prompt disappears when you enter the cave and pressing it does nothing, so you can swim like 8 ft above it, but you can't loot it or the herbs in the area.

EDIT: This is *NOT* the underwater cave involved in "The Last Wish" quest.

Start using your keyboard and mouse then, I find it much easier to control after rebinding some keys there.

Swimming controls are much stiffer if you use a controller, as well as some other things

I've been using keyboard and mouse since the beginning, the ability to dive is taken from you when you enter the cave so you can't go lower.

I have always been able to dive in any water that is deep enough to do so.

It's very simple. The treasure is there but the game does NOT allow you to swim the next few feet down to be able to interact with it. It showed up on the map of me where to described, I didn't even have to find it on accident.

It's like there is an impassible barrier in between you it it. I haven't had this issue elsewhere either. Unless you've specifically went to THAT cave for THAT treasure.. It doesn't matter. It's probably restricted to that specific area or perhaps others that also exist at that or a lower depth. I'm sure most aren't an issue or it would be more widely reported.

This it must be just that cave. Again, doesn't matter if it's not an issue elsewhere, I wasn't reporting it as an everywhere issue, but the cave I specifically mentioned.

Read my first post. It wasn't hidden and showed up on the map without me ever visiting there before.

BTW, I made this thread on June 6th. I haven't tried against since.

Well, if I understand correct location of cave, you can get access to it during "Last wish" quest.

I just came across this cave today, its the same cave you had trouble with boogie. Couldn't find any other posts on this so I thought Id revive this and see if anyone had any solutions.

haven't gotten to that quest yet but its the same cave, so I guess you cant get down there till that quest.. cool

I've had this before too. Diving just stops working. Easy to fixx though. Just save, close game, try again. Should work fine.

i don't know if it works anywhere else as i've never had a problem anywhere else but save and close and retry does not work for this cave
