It is what it is. Not even CDPR cares buddy. But hey praise CDPR amirite? Greatest videogame company ever right?

The same happened with the Scoia´tael and the absence of Iorveth, some things were never mentioned in the game at all.
I think it goes as far as Thaler beign alive no matter what, although it´s a possibility that he could died in Witcher 1 (a decision that is carried over to the sequel).

I personally think this details are pasable. I mean, CDPR are absolutely not the perfect devs some people tend them to be, but they still deliver a very complex and vastly game. In this case, some sacrifices or cut content were necessary.
That said, I also think that the overall quality of the main story is not equally pasable as these things, the ending beign particulary rushed.

As far as where we are in the story, she's either with what's-his-name if you handed her over, or she and Roche were on the run and Roche ostensibly has her stashed somewhere.

This still bothers me to this day. I loved 2 and the choices that didnt cary over, but could have, is frustraiting. saskia was resolved with a comic. my hope is if they do a trilogy like mass effect did they do some better linking and follow through of choices, as well as making 1s combat and graphics much better. a few lines of dialogue would be enough for the different choices would be enough.
