Has anyeone found a way to get around this bug yet? It's not updating my alchemy formulas to create the potion needed for the quest.

Did you pick up the recipe from the herbalist back in town?

Check your quest inventory you make the potion before the quest.Same thing for me.

I completed the quest about 30 mins ago.

After clearing the hag's lair, Geralt commented that he needs to make a potion. I looked in my alchemy panel, and there was a new potion recipe under the Potions category. I clicked it, drank the potion, and the quest continued.

I...don't know how your game bugged, but it definitely *can* work normally in some cases.

No I have never seen this formula. Went through all invemtory and recipes also. I watched a walkthrough, and the formula updated when the quest updatd to needing the potion? Sp for some reason my quest did not update completely. And I don't know if you can even buy a drowner pheromon formula?

Try reloading the checkpoint to when the quest updates if you still have it.

same here, appearently i had already made the potion previous to the quest. now it wont trigger that i have it, even if i use it. i also tried meditating to the next day and using it. nothing unfortunately

Edit : you need to equip it. then use it.

I have run into the problem that using it doesn't do anything even though I have equipped it.

So I was also stuck at this but i'm playing New game+ noticed that a lot of potions are missing from my book but seems like i auto make max stack when i meditate (old game potions as well) so I carefully looked through all my potions and noticed the correct one.

Potion name is Drowner Pharomones hopuflly this helps others.

If you have the potion already in your inventory, you have to drink it inside the circle in the sub water cave of the mission to trigger it. If you dont have the recipe, just buy it at the alchemist in kaer trolde and then drink it back inside the cave. maybe this helps to find the location if you need it https://youtu.be/oDmzp_0ofsg
