The Best Sarcasm...
Geralt:"Take it the thieves got in through the hole behind you?"

Dijikstan:"You're a regular ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ master sleuth. Any other brilliant deductions you want confirmed? The year, maybe? Bloody name of Redania's king?"

You guys got any other gems?

Did you cross-dress and use the mega-scope to try to get B****es to come over? Because I did... And I got in big trouble.

Edit: That being said OP, I'm in the mid to late game right now, and there's something hilarious or tongue-in-cheek just about every other quest. I love it; they make their medieval setting feel so modern and witty-hip, all without electricity. I think the dialogue is consistently amazing, and it makes me smile.

Goes something like "me and your butler got close" after Emyr wondered "I thought witchers bow to no one?"

You bowed to him????

To be honest, while some of that stuff is worth a chuckle here and there, I'm actually starting to get annoyed by how hostile all these guys are with each other. I mean can't they just have an adult conversation FFS?

How do these guys have a "normal" conversation when they all tried to kill each other in the past?

There are too many seriously. I will take screenshots on my second run of the game so I can make a funny website about the witcher funny quotes.

I just mean, like not EVERY sentence that comes out of each of their mouths for the whole series of quests needs to be sarcasm does it? Like every single sentence....

It was just annoying after a while.

Yes, I did bow to him because he is Charles Dance. :D

Seriously I did because the game was so immersive I thought they'd kill me if I didn't.

I think most people are sarcastic towards Geralt and him to them because witchers are abhorred by most and Geralt really has that sly and dark humor in him on the witcher games. I also met people where Geralt wasn't sarcastic, like the dressmaker elf. That person really caught Geralt off-guard it's so funny.

I also hate Dykstra so much. Man, you just can't get one normal conversation with that guy. He's so annoying.

Dyxtra's butler reminded me so much of Lord Varys though, eunuch and all. I hope that guy is plotting something against his boss, hahaha.

I love how dry Geralt's humour is when he is dealing with idiots. I find myself laughing pretty consistently at the writing. One standout part for me was when you have to talk to the maid at the races when looking for Dandelion and she was obviously one of his many side pieces. I don't remember how it went word for word but it was something like this:

"Maybe he's with his sister"

"You do realise he doesn't have a sister, right?"

"Sure he does! I saw her with my own eyes. Funny, she doesn't look anything like him. Must have different fathers"

"Different mothers too"

Honestly, I think Dijkstra is one of my favourite characters in the game. He's a scheming, sarcastic brute with a heart of gold (...maybe). He has many golden lines, and all of his quests are really interesting.

The writers did a great job of turning this minor book goon into a compelling mover-and-shaker of this game's plot.
