I think the quest also has a built-in safety net, where they won't let you enter the competition until you've got decent cards.
I often have that effect on people.
Just get a trainer... seen several that allows you to win every gwent game :D
Sure cheathappens has one out since the game released.
Last week I "failed" Keira's questline, because I didn't want to spend a romantic night with her. Now it seems like I was supposed to agree to the night and refuse to sleep with her...which doesn't really make a lot of sense to me, but hey. Failing quests because they were ambiguous sucks.
So sure, if anyone finds a console command to reset quests, please let me know.
