Please let us reset the high stakes gwent tournament
I made a mistake of starting the high stakes gwent tournament and realized I wasn't ready for it.
I then went around the world collecting more cards and ended up with a better deck.

After going back to Passiflora Inn, couldn't find the scribe to start it again... The quest is listed in the FAILED section... wth?

There was no warning the quest would fail... yes it stated if I leave I lose the tournament, and the fee...

Please make it replayable, even if the fee should remain... I don't feel like going 50 saves earlier just for that...

Thanks

Lol... sometimes you should heed the leveling advise ;) Level 26 is usually what you end Skellige with and it's the recommended level so it's safe to assume that it would be wise to get the Skellige cards as well... or you just set your deck up ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

unfortunately that is your only option. Just remember to have save more often and on different slots perhaps 30min to 1hr apart so if you do screw up you don't lose so much game.

There actually WAS a warning that quest would fail. Old man who organized it in the first place said so, something about "If you leave Passiflora, you're out". At that moment I've reloaded and made a save just in case I can't handle all the opponents.

The old man is quite tough. Other than that they are mainly your standard decks. The best decks to play with are actually the North (spies, siege engines and heroes) or Nilfgaard (OP cards, ♥♥♥♥ loads of heroes and of course spies). If you have 6-7 heroes you should be fine. Oh... and dont use weather cards. They stink. Get the 3 decoys, 3 scorches and 3 horns in as your special cards and leave it at that.

Yeah, it was either the first or second rule of the tournament. He made it quite clear.

I think the quest also has a built-in safety net, where they won't let you enter the competition until you've got decent cards.

They make sure that you have a good enough deck to win. You can't actually enter the the tournament with a bad deck. The game won't let you.

Any word of console commands that could help you restart it? You could do it in Skyrim and other games I'm sure.

Or that I guess. I didn't even know they had them out yet.

Sure cheathappens has one out since the game released.

Come to think of it...I would like a console command that allows us to restart quests.

Last week I "failed" Keira's questline, because I didn't want to spend a romantic night with her. Now it seems like I was supposed to agree to the night and refuse to sleep with her...which doesn't really make a lot of sense to me, but hey. Failing quests because they were ambiguous sucks.

So sure, if anyone finds a console command to reset quests, please let me know.
