So i just realized arrows are the bane of my existence

On my first play through i went down the warrior tree and took arrow deflection and the only trouble i had with arrows was when i tried to reflect them, then i decided on my second play through to go down the magic tree and arrows suddenly became the best way to kill me.

It really changed the way i play, before i would go in and depend on my blocking skills to see me through encounters now i have to take out the archers first otherwise im screwed.

Yrden alt destroys them easily if it pass near them. But yeah arrows are pretty crazy in general, wish mine where that strong.

Yes arrows are nasty. Thats why you should kill the archers first. They as well are easy to lure close by hiding beind obstacles. But yes...when you are playing a light armor witcher those arrows hurt.

I find that if I max the first 3 skills for arrow deflection, they're not as deadly anymore lol. It works wonderfully by standing next to the melee enemies as well. As one shot deflected is instant kill for them. I'm still trying to figure out how to change the direction of the deflection.

Alternative Axii on archers, awesome way to get rid of all the bandits. :D I can take 3-4 arrrows before dying, bandits die in one shot. :)

i have never tried arrow deflection. Archers are fresh meat. You just run up to them and they die in 1-2 hits. Rather do that and invest points in other skills
