Getting windows 64bit is the only solution I know here
Of course, the application must be specifically programmed to use such tech, and I only know a few business apps which do that, games don't bother since 32-bit OSes are outdated.
(And the patch is "pae patch)
simply get win 7 64 bit .. thats really the only thing that will help you
yes, you would need to format.
Question is, either:
- would a 32 bit system meet the minimum requirements listed on the store page? or
- does the store page specify if multicore processors are required as a minimum?
Your answer is no, but should you be able to run on one core, you'd likely have a very degraded experience and you'd have to support that on your own without the help of anybody.
The point is: back up your files you may wish to format (but do not "have to"), and yes, they are forcing you to upgrade and No - most of the reasons above are total lies being fed as excuses for forcing upgrades.
You could also just use your eye balls to see it is a 5 year old thread.
