... the drowners name really shines when you're mashing the keys/buttons to sink/surface properly among 3-5 of them.

It's not too bad, although i guess it makes more sense on a controller than with a mouse/keyboard.
You're in water with swords and fricking armor. You don't grow gills and fins.
I see people complaining that the horse doesn't instantly turn on a dime or respond either. It's a horse......
Good grief.
The main trick iss to try and keep a depth. Dive down with the right button and you let go of the dive button. Hit the swim faster button and you should keep going in the desired direction.
... It may be harder/ easier with a keyboard and mouse, as I opted for a PS4 controller to play the game.
