is novigrad and velen same map?

Are they the same map? evertime i try to zoom in novigrad it keeps zooming me to velen

They're supposedly different regions but you can go from one to the other with no loading screens at all, so yeah, they are pretty much the same map.

Hmm never had that problem. Novigrad & Velen should connect seamlessly with no load screens.

I always confuse Novigrad and Oxenfurt, as Oxenfurt has a travel point called Novigrad gate. Or am I wrong and that's Novigrad? I don't understand.

Point is, the Velen and Novigrad are divided by the big river.

Still wandering in Velen, but seems like it's just a inside of that castle. Also hope the future 2 expansion dlc will open up 2 new locations maybe.

oh they're releasing an expansion all right, apparently 30 hours of content in the expansion, you can buy it from the steam store

Think one of the expansions will reveal a complete new area. I need to look it out tho to confirm.

Yeah so one of the expansions will reveal an area called Toussaint. The baron talks about it at some point in his quest .

LOL. Will be as great as Vyzima. Probably because of the consoles.

The Toussaint region described in the books was untouched by war. Expect it to be a lot more prosperous than Velen. It is also one of the few remaining "free" kingdoms left alone by the Empire.
