Zireael Armor

Did I just get a crazy rare drop? I don't see anything about this armor online or on the forums. I got it from the archgriffin thats the target of the lvl 35 monster contract in eastern Velen.

Heavy
125 armor
5.8 stone
40 percent resist piercing
30 percent resist bludgeoning
100 percent resist to bleed
40 percent resist slash
25 percent resist damage from monsters
3 sockets

Very nice heavy armor with a low weight. Similar to Hindersfjall heavy armor but only a third of the weight. Very nice looking too. Shades of light blue with bronze metal reinforcement.

got one early and its only lvl 12 Requirenment. so i must be a badass of luck or its common drop. I just hope the loot table is not buggy!

I got that same drop from the Archgriffon but mine is lvl 7 requirement with same stats less armor, I was level 24 when I killed it.

Got the same twice, it's te blue one right? i also got the zireal sword's steel and silver and some other stuff, but still witcher gear Rules... ;)

At the moment the Nilfgaardian armor from the DLC seems to be the best armor at lvl 37 (All of the armor is at lvl 35 except for the gauntlets for me.)

It could have to do with what level you are and what difficulty you're on. I've not found a better chestpiece yet.

Does anyone know if there's a crafting diagram for the Zireael Armour available anywhere in-game?

Don't remember where I got it from but I have it also 162 armor level 26. I'm level 47 now so it just sits on the armor stand. Thought at first when I got it that it might have some significant use but obviously not.
