Novigrad, Closed City

Hey !

I ... dont really get this quest, I just cleaned the house from "bandits", and got a key, and know i have absolutely know idea what i am supposed to do, the quest have no active objective, and I have :

- Kill the bandits (done)
- Follow the missing man trail (done, no idea why, i did not follow anyone)
- Track the smell of blood and sewer muck (done also, same, do idea why, I did not do anything)

And nothing else. This is .... confusing ...

Did you kill any witch hunters in the area? They have a readable quest item to loot which will let you know where the other keys are to a chest.

If I remember it right u have to find 3 keys and open a vault. Nothing special there though. Try to read any notes those thugs had.

I just killed two, in the house of the women, I am just outside the house, the quest seems bugged.

Did you read the warrant? They each have one and their loot remains glow to let you know it's important

Nah I did not loot them, the women told me to follow someone so i did step outside to look, and the door is now locked lol.

Well, I think I am screwed. :D

Strange I just did it, and I got the first key from the women at the biginning, the second in a house of a dead guy, and the third, I could not help the guy, he was knocking on a door and a witch hunter came from nowhere and killed him, no dialogue, I just looted him and got the third.

There is a small upstairs house where the quest leads you, outside the door is a bunch of wooden boards laying around. Go in the house examine the skeleton then go upstairs. You will find the last key on the desk.

I helped the lady with the "haunted house" then it says find others 2/3 followed objective got in house with red corse under witcher senses. Says witchers got here first, I go upstairs and there's red around a torch at top of stairs that it won't let me interact with and an orange crate under upstairs table I can't interact with. Ugh

saved and reloaded corpse red again not interactable rest still same and there's a locked cabinet upstairs. I really hate that this is the second thing I've found that there have been many comments about it being bugged and uncompletable with no response from CDPR. It's a great game but as a completionist it bothers me that I can't complete this or the side quest to get all gwent cards (without restarting) because of the ones they added at the beginning after I was farther into the game.

You don't have to 'interact' with that torch.

Igniting it causes the hidden door to open, containing the final key and the safe.

Hey can anything help me. Ive beaten the game and just doing quest and wanted to do this one sadly sense i had beaten the game there are barricades in some parts of the city and i am unable to get over or around them. Any thoughts on how i can finish the quest.

I go the quest site and it will not show any trails, pheromones or clues anymore.
