Towerful of Mice *spoilers*
So I've been tricked by the damn wraith and now Graham is dead :(. I completely forgotten that one of the burglar got killed by a monster after I had spoken to the ghost. The glossary indicates that I have started the plague on the coastal residents :(. Is this going to affect my ending dramatically? Damn it, I really don't want to reload and I feel so bad about starting a plague :(

Well he dies either way... question is if you were dumb enough to take her bones to the mainland.

yes lol. I already said I was tricked :( I wanted a happy ending with her lover burying her remains. So will that affect the world or just an entry for later on lol

Dunno... I wasn't dumb enough to take a PLAGUE MAIDENS bones to the mainland... I do have a feeling that you will see the effects of the plague ravashing the towns.

Jeez, condescending much? You really don't know she was a wraith until afterwards. There has been curse lifted by loved ones doing some deeds before. Take your misguided superiority somewhere else.

You do know... she tell you how she dies, there is a fresh body lying around which she has no explanation for, she tells you she can't leave the tower yet she tells you she can leave the tower, you can read the notes of the researcher finding out that he researched the plague and if you actually refuse her, she will turn ugly on you... Geralt even remarks that he's not sure about her ;)

Im not even that far yet, but ive gotta say from the scenario you described, its pretty clear that something is up.

She was suspicious from the start, she contradicts herself as well. Anyway unlucky dude :D

Yeah... sorry not meaning to be a prick... but not all apparitions and ghosts are nice. You have to use your head sometimes especially when you have a lot of contradictions. Like take the ghost in the tree later on... before you free it I would suggest you read some books ;)

Wait, in my game he kissed the plague maiden in the tower, she transformed back and they died together. I think I got the "happy" ending.
hedop May 30, 2015 @ 6:33am
Yes because the curse was lifted and the plague maidens bones never reached the mainland.

I let the guy die and her disappear, and i think it's the best option, Geralt even says that they can finally be together.

Plague maiden legitimately wants to spread a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ plague, who know how many ppl it would kill. Cant trust some shady ghost, who's lying to your face and making it's so stupidly obvious.
Also are you talking about ladies of the forest quest? Haven't got to it yet, but got it spoiler some time ago, and, as i saw it: if ghost wants to ♥♥♥♥ those ladies up and villagers that pray to them - that's a good thing.

It's not much about being stupid in bringing her bones to the guy but the fact that usually in RPGs refusing your aid to someone/something either concludes the quest, has a lesser reward or it turns out you get one less NPC to interact with afterwards. So you are often eager to help in fear that you might miss on something that the game has to offer.

Some choices are pretty clear cut, I'm thinking about the Spirit of the forest, it is obvious that it decides the outcome of the quest. On the other hand with the plague maiden, for all you know saying screw you might just end the quest and that's it.

Me too. Just consider it as population control, learn the lesson and move on.
