The patch will come monday (polish monday, which should be sometime sunday evening for the states).
Regarding whether to play now, or wait, "...First of all, it doesn't impact the game balance in any significant way. Also, you will be able to finish the game with your character achieving a level within the threshold we had in mind when we designed the game." Originally the glitch only effected you turning in quests 6 or more levels lower than your current level. Unsure of its status now.
Go forth armed with knowledge and play... or wait!
If you take on a quest that's 6!!! levels or more BELOW your current level, you won't get any xp for it. That's it.
'Gamebreaking' they say.
Who the heck does quests when they're completely overleveled for them?
i dont know if you read the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ statement or not.apparently the bug isnt that but you got no xp when you do higher lvel quest than you(red mark),some of the quests and you dont know which quests there are.so yes, this xp bug is game breaking bug.and yes it happened to me also when i did high stake quest and got nothing in return except cash.
This is from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ statement...
It only happens when you do quests which are 6 levels below your level, or 6 levels above your level.
Again, I don't understand why anyone would do that anyway, but apparently some people do.
well first the game wasnt intended to punish player from playing higher level quest.the lower level quest punishment is intentional and im okay with it.second, why would they make you accept the higher level quest if you just punish them with no xp?and thats not the concept of open world rpg.third,im doing the higher level quest due to game breaking bug that prevent me doing lower level main quest.i cant progress the game so i did all higher level quest and im punish for it due to the game bug.thats really sad and unfair, isnt it?
Why can't you progress the game? The XP bug is only for sidequests, not the main quest. And I don't know what diffculty you're playing on, but Death March or Broken Bones won't even allow you to take on quests that are 6 levels above you since you would instantly die...
Are you sure you're having this bug because it doesn't like it.
I do agree however that accepting quests for way higher levels (23-33) is pretty weird if you're only level 1-10. They should have integrated that better.
You mean the bug where you can't get into Junior's hidden stash? You can just go to Roche to proceed the quest. Sadly, the secret stash part will come up as 'failed', but at least you can still continue. I hope they're fixing this soon.
I see. So in other words, even if I did get XP for said quest, it would be so minimal that it wouldn't make a difference anyway?
