Beard growth, how does it work?
Yes, it's a big deal. Love the glorious beard and I'm glad they put this in.
Anyway: I have the hair and beard DLC installed, yet I'm not using any of it. I just recently arrived in Oxenfurt and found the barber, so I decided to have Geralt shave for a while, just for roleplaying purpose.

Then, curious, I meditated for several days to watch it grow back, but... Surprise, nothing happened even after 10 days of meditation.
I fast traveled to Vizima, he had a bit of beard then, so I thought it was bugged and started meditating again for weeks, it didn't change. Fast traveled back to Oxenfurt, full beard on.

So... does the beard only grow during fast travel, is it bugged, intended, or whatever... just how does this work?

You have to completely shave it off for it to grow slowly over time.

Wait, so the free beard and hairstyle dlc breaks the games hair and beard growth? Thats, actually pretty funny.

No it doesn't. Only if you choose one of the hairstyles from the DLC.

I did, it won't grow back in time, just after fast traveling.

So if you after getting one of those, change it back to a non dlc one, the growth resumes properly?
