Broken Flowers - Cannot enter Var Attre's estate

There is no option as shown in the video walkthrough as "swordplay master". Instead, I can tell the guard that I am the new cook and get rejected instantly.

I don't know how to proceed further. As now the guard is not talking to me anymore and the door is locked.

Can anybody help?

Try opening the door, it'll trigger the dialogue again. (I chose the cook line as well and had the same problem)

There is some way to get an option to say that you're the sword instructor to the guards. Probably comes from hanging around them and overhearing a conversation. I didn't get that my second playthrough so thanks for the tip in sneaking around through the back.

After weeks of trying to find the secret to having the "Sword Master" option available to Geralt when he visits Rosa var Attre, I finally figured it out. After finding Dandelion's Planner and you go through the cut scene with Zoltan and it ends, DON'T LEAVE! Instead speak with Zoltan again, and this will trigger a cut scene where Geralt goes over the names on his list with Zoltan, and is given inside info on the ladies on his list...!!! Hope this helps those that were frustrated trying to find this option.
