"I realize the stats are not impressive, but in combat it kills instantly."
Also, it's a steel sword. Damage output between steel and silver blades are considerably different. n00bie pls
Which is only high % wise on green bandits.
You can't finisher animals like dogs, wolf, deer, rabbit, bears, wargs.
You have very low chance to finisher red or red skull bandits, guards, other human.
You can however ride horse and run these through like a pro, no matter the level difference. The sword with % crit damage up is much better for this purpose.
D: what a stupid sword hahahaha
it's not bad. That said, any of the witcher specific crafted gear will be the best thing you can get, period.
not really, especially not swords, i already got a silver+steel sword which both do 60+more damage than the ones from the witcher sets and i havent even crafted the max sword i could (because of lvl req.)
Have you upgraded your witcher swords? They all have multiple upgrade schematics that enhance them to scale up stat-wise
