Rose of Remembrance?
I rummaged around Triss's cozy loft in Novigrad and found the rose I gave her in the 2nd game. The description of the rose says it's withered. Does that mean the love between Geralt and Triss isn't true?

LOREEEE` The rose stays alive depending on how much the person who gave the flower loves the other person, and thats also vice versa.

I wondered this too, wasn't sure what to think when I read that it was withered

That could be the devs giving you a hint. But DAMN if it isn't hard to turn down that adorable redhead.

It's from a scene in the witcher 2. It means it's important to triss that you gave it to her because she kept it. They also mention it in dialogue if you have it in inventory.

I have chosen Triss. At the end of the game there's nothing that hints that she does not love you.. I wonder...

Well in the books, Triss actually used magical influence to seduce Geralt at first. She also took advantage of his amnesia, because she actually knew about Geralt and Yen and still wanted to sleep with Geralt because jealousy essentially. She even mentions in game how she used Geralt. My assumption is that once Geralt recovered his memory, he began to see Triss as more of a friend and peer and returned to being in love with Yennefer, who's essentially his true love. Ultimately his love for Triss withered, and the rose reflects that.

I very much think Triss still loves Geralt, but canonically, I doubt Geralt feels the same way. He still loves her, just in a more caring way, while his love for Yennefer still is lustful. I wonder, if you choose Triss, and you fall back in love with her, does the item description change? That would be way cool.

I am still wondering that how did she has it in her house.

From what I saw in the witcher 2 Philipa used it to cure Saskia and the rose was getting died already at that time.

I have no clue at all that how did it come in her hand

The item description doesn't change, but the item image changes. The rose isn't dried up in the image anymore.
