Ladies of the Wood - Trail of Treats (Spoilers?)
I had to laugh a bit when the Ladies of the Wood quest objective was to:
"Follow the Trail of Treats using your Witcher senses".

So little kids can make their way just fine but Geralt needs to use his super-human vision?

I don't think you have to use your witcher senses. You can clearly see the candy/gingerbread men along the trees and signs. There are however these things called "Dimwits" who play games like this and get lost even with witcher senses helping them. Gotta hold the hands or suffer the wrath of forum complaints.

Just look on the ground and in the tree. There are literally doughnuts hanging.

There are many references to fairytales in W3 and the stories...it's like one of the franchises inside-joke. Some of them are quite funny, like the reference to Cinderella =)

Whenever I complain that every quest out there is all about "use your witcher senses, use them again! Now its time for witcher senses! This quest is diffirent, it will have you to use your witcher senses twice in a row!" I get responses like "just dont use them", but the fact is, most quests out there are scripted to use them otherwise you will not progress. However treats trail is not of them, I remember a quest about a vampire, I've ended in a shack with a corpse and a pool of blood, went on to examine them, but the game didn't let me untill I've hit witcha senses (the prompt "E" did not appear). Same happened in other 2-3 quests I've tried to solve without the senses.

A couple of contracts need no Witcher Sense. I stumbled upon the Swamp Thing in a cave before I even talked to the guy who put on the contract.

I realize you can visibly see the treat. That was the point I was making:
The quest explicitly says the "User your Witcher senses!" which is kind of an absurd statement considering the trail is very visible : )

Did you forget to read literally the first response in your thread?

No, but if you look at a couple of subsequent responses it seems not everyone understood what I meant.

No need to get testy.
