What's the point of trophies in a bag?
So generally the point of displaying a trophy is to show it off, I know in the story context of being a witcher Geralt straps it to the horse as a means for transport. In the context of this being a game and trophies being a visible item at all though the general purpose is to display a cool item that marks an accomplishment.

Okay so that being true what exactly is the point of a trophy that's just a sack, I understand the head is supposed to be in the sack but that kind of defeats the entire purpose of having and displaying a trophy. I've gotten a few different trophies from a few different monsters that are just sacks hanging from my saddle, did CDProjekt just run out of time to get the art done for individualized trophies or something?

Wild beasts = Disgusting, but cool.
Human head = Not respecting the sanctity of the (un)dead.

That explains bags for undead such as noonwraiths and grave hags. As for other creatures.. uhh..

Yeah I saw this as laziness. I mean...they had a lot of content to do, I think they just ran out of time for some things, and it's understandable. No other excuse in my book...hard to explain that away with lore etc. Was just wondering about this myself.

As I know, only human heads are in sacks. Is it really a problem?

Yeah I wish we could have them showing like they look in the pictures for the trophy. Bummer for sure.

TW2 had better model than this. Even monster hair trophy had model on TW2. In TW3, all of "small" trophy go to sack. I agree, this is a laziness.

Edit : In TW2, the specter/wrights are ghost that surely turn to dust when beaten. But TW2 show the Trophy was the Wright's Cloth.

I have 8 or so trophies, none of which are "human." Only 2 of those do not appear in bags. Seems like laziness to me.

Your point? lol. Is this the proper venue to be talking about how the red cross didn't donate all the money it said it did to Haiti? Come on now, we're just making comments. Game is still 10/10 to me. Nothing wrong with a little minor criticism.

This is nitpicking to be honest. The trophies are used more for stats at this point. Not for the 'pleasure' of looking at an ugly ass monster head for 75 hours.

Too many bags, too many bags... It takes a lot to make a trophie. A pinch of silver and monster, too...

I agree for the most point, they are functionally a stat booster, and we ARE nitpicking.

However, what is a "trophy" after all? It's a DISPLAY of an accomplishment. We see trophy displays all the time, in glass cases, in stadiums, etc. The point is a *show* of an accomplishment. Ever seen a trophy that is in a burlap sack? They even made a point to emphasize and comment on the griffon head during some of the pre-release videos. It's really another layer of customization, and would have loved to see it more fleshed out -- that's all!

No big deal :)

I dunno about you, but every single trophy i've got has had stats that i couldn't care less about. 5% more gold, 5% more xp, 10% chance to dismember (which i think might be bugged)...nothing really worth it, much more an aesthetic appeal kinda deal

Nice hanging on your horse and some minor % to stats thats all i don't mind i just sell rest.

Don't wraiths turn into a pile of dust when they die? The wraith trophies are pretty much bags of dust.

Personally, I can't wait until the mod resources are released, and we can get creative trophies from modders.

Guess it could have gone the Fable root and let you hold up the monster head while every nearby villager screamed "♥♥♥♥ YEA!".

Would have been nifty. Oh well. Like you said, no big deal.
