i have the enhanced recipe, but not the regular one. anyone has an idea on where to find it

found it early on when exploring undiscovered locations in low level areas of velen in a random chest.

i thought i did check everywhere in the started zone.. ill have to revisit i guess

These can be found randomly. I went for a long time without the regular insectoid. When I googled it was found in several spots, none of which where I eventually found it. Also some can be bought.

I didn't find the moondust until I went to skellige ... and already found the enhanced and superior moondust ... so I guess just carry on playing ... sooner or later you'll find it (you can also look if somebody is selling it to you)
