no Exp bug!!! carefull!!!

Devs said they found the bug also, i have not been geting any exp for side quests and main quests since 1.04. Check before you continue playing!!!
They are working on a patch the said on their own forum, i did at least 10 quests and missed some leveling wich is already slow as ♥♥♥♥. Gonna load some older saves i quess

It's not a bug. You're doing quests that are 6 levels below your level.

maybe not for everyone, i got the tiny bits of exp for the smaller mission parts but get nothing for finishing a quest in total.

no im not, i did one that is 1 level below me and 1 that is my level
i haven't done a quest thats 6 below me the whole time

Remember tho that depending on your choice of rewards, sometimes you don't get exp I think. Like if they give you the choice to take the money or to not take it, then if you take it you get no exp or just a little bit compared to if you wouldn't take it.

Can't confirmed, but that is how Witcher 2 worked so I believe this would be the same for Witcher 3 too.

Bummer! I'd like to think that's why it took me AGES to Lvl up early in the game, but that patch hadn't been released then. :) Hope they fix it for you real soon.

Save before completing quests or give it a rest till they fix it.

I am on the Lord of Udvik quest, i completed it but didn't got exp. So that quest is glitched as well. I saved the game just before the final encounter, untill the hotfix i won't/can't play anymore. Does anyone know if the hotfix also works on a quest you are already on, so that i don't have to restart the entire quest but can just complete it by using my save before the final encounter?
