Gwent: Big City Players (Can't get into Dijkstra's bathhouse)

I'm on the phase of the quest where you go to play Dijkstra, yet his bathhouse is locked for some reason. I have completed his main story missions and have visited him before. Any solution to this? (Screenshot Below)

yep, couldnt finish this quest either, nothing we can do..

Same problem here, tried going through the sewer entrance too and nothing. Maybe we have to do the final mission that is part of the Assassin of Kings achievement and talk to him them, my problem being that I don't want to d o that mission. I say wait for either a patch (aka pray) or hope for a noclip mod at some point in the future - in the mean time we'll have to play gwent without his bloody card!

I dunno if im further in with the story than you guys are. I probably am but I have free access to dijkstras bathhouse with no issues at all. Do not know if its cause ive done the mission jacket is talking about tho I can tell you this without spoiling the story.

You will talk to him again later on.

Just make sure you finish the gwent: Playing innkeeps quest early on and the baron. Those are the 2 I know you can end up getting locked out from. Theres a third one too but personally feel that will spoil too much mentioning it for people who dont want spoilers. Can only say if you have the possibility to play gwent in the nearby viscinity while doing a main quest then do it and make sure you win. :-)

I tried my best to not spoil anything when writing this so hope its satisfying enough

Same problem here. Did u solve it?

Have you helped Triss and the mages of novigrad? He will make an appearance in that quest line that will enable you to play a game of gwent with him. There's also the matter of an assassination that he will request your help with which will enable you to talk to him a bit.

Can't seem to access your screenshot, so I'm not sure if I was having the same problem. Turns out I was looking at the wrong house. Look for the big arches on a lower level of the city:

There is a main story mission about going to Skellige İslands to fight with wild hunt and u have to talk to Triss in that mission(its a part of the mission) and then you 2 go to Bathhouse together. I dont remember that missions name but just do the main story and it'll open.

Not sure if you still need the help, but Marcos was a bit unclear, in the mission"Final Preparations" the door remains locked until you help Triss, due to her portion of the quests taking you there.

I was able to get to him after I met him for the quest on killing the king.
