Playing the Nilfgaardian nobleman again

I didn't win the first time I met the Nilfgaardian nobleman does anyone know if you can go back to the palace and play him again?

The first time you can meet and play him he will pretty much DESTROY you. Run about Velen and even Novigrad, get some better cards and when you are ready you can indeed fast travel back to the castle and face him again. Just hit the space bar when viewing the map and it will show the "World" map and you can go to the palace from it.

I finally did beat him, but it took maybe 10 tries, it wasn't starter pack but i didn't have that many good cards.

That guys supposed to be hard? I assumed he was the second guy you are supposed to play, and beat him first shot, but early deck is semi luck based, got pretty much all my best possible cards, while he got garbage it seemed.

Yes you can go back and play him later using fast travel.
