Mysterious Note, does this lead to anything or is it just a reference?
Note goes as follows.

Keep an eye out for castaways. Lone travelers. Drunk warriors. Bring them to me, to the cellar. The Ancient One craves blood.

Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu'R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.!

I'm guessing it refers to the bandit captain further in, but I was kinda hoping for more..

There is even a Necronomicon somewhere, so Cthulhu perfectly fits... LOL

Wondering that myself... if it's just an HP lovecraft "easter egg" or if it actually leads somewhere. So far I've not found anything. But fighting Cthulhu would be awsome! :)

Also for those who dosn't know what "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Chthulu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" means and are too lazy too look it up in google (Witch i am myself most of the time too)... It means "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming"....
