Horrible narrator

Anyone ever notice how mono and bland the narrator is on the subtitle loading screen. He sounds like a run on sentence ever time he talks.

Yea, kind of out of place in a game that otherwise has some strong voice acting. Not a huge deal though.

I agree, he sounds flat and bored, like he doesn't even care. I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be Dandelion that is doing the talking. Oh well, just one misstep in an amazing game.

It's supposed to be old Dandelion narrating, how would you have an old Dandelion sound like?

Agreed. Also the comic style doesn't suit the rest of the game. I mean we have beautiful graphics and these beautiful cinematic trailers and then all of a sudden we have a comic strip type art which is akin to an indie game. Doesn't make sense.

It appears the voice actor is John Schwab, fresh out of pensacola here in florida, man they did a horrible job pickin them out.

He's just terrible. Inconsistent tone in between sentences. The line delivery is awkward and phoned in. Now we need a mod that removes these scenes. Just give me a regular loading screen.

Dandelion in the story himself has done a good job.. Couldn't care less about loading screens

I can barely even hear him, the volume on those screens seems super low compared to the rest of the game.

For this game the other languages are better than the English version,,first time i see this in a video game.I played in french and it's an amazing cast.
The japanese version must be great too.

Nah. The English cast is generally great, with this one exception. The narrator has no emotion or pacing in his dialog. Lines literally run together with awkward delivery. Without the subtitles, you'd be completely lost. Terrible choice. Must have been a close friend of someone working on the game, because I sincerely doubt there was any sort of audition here.

Oh man I never realized it was old Dandelion, thought the narrator was Vesemir. They shoulda got the narrator from Darkest Dungeon on this that guy was dope!

It is Vesemir who narate it.
