[Bug] Can't call roach

No matter how hard i hit X, i just can't seem to call Roach.. Where are you girl!

Closing and reopening the game fixed this for me. Happened after a certain story-side quest involving the heart of whatever is possessing the tree where you tame a horse for a moment.

Happened quite early for me, closing and re-opening the game seemed to resolve the problem also, then it occured again and this time it was solved via a quick travel.

I just got this bug myself recently while in Novigrad. Now I try to call Roach and it says "You cannot do that now." Has anyone found a fix to this? I've exited the game, loaded a past save, saved the game - nothing. Please help me out.

I've had this many times. I look for the horse icon on the map and sometimes he's grazing 10 miles from where I left him. Either fast travel to him or..

Just got it the bug :/

Hopefully closing and re-entering will fix.

Exit, apparently ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my controller to find the button, then pressing the keyboard bind worked. Could also be that I was too close to the beach

One bug? Yes, ONE BUG that was mentioned here. I can describe you at least 20 immersion breaking bugs, both small and large, that make this the buggiest triple A game of 2015.

Try restarting the game again :P

If that doesn't work, try loading an older save

It really amazes me that this isn't fixed. 3 years after release.
There are ways of restarting the game, meditating, reloading a save etc. but still. I would've expected it to be fixed. It already happened 3 times for me. Mostly after fast traveling.
