Griffin Armor set = OP
Few things to why its the best and most versatile, compared to the other sets:

1.Its a medium armor meaning it will give you more protection than light armor and you won't suffer reduced stamina regeneration compared to the heavy armor.

2.The sign intensity bonus! Even if you don't want to invest in signs(like me lol), all signs will be improved by wearing this armor, meaning bigger chance for aard to knock down, more Igni damage, Quen gets more shield etc

3.The medium armor general skill aka Griffin School Techniques, "Each piece of medium armor increases your Sign intensity by 5% and Endurance regeneration by 5%." Meaning even more increased sign bonuses and crazy fast stamina regeneration, i am able to cast signs every 3-4 sec lol, who needs a heavy armor when you can have quen on you most of the time :)

Except when you get ganked on and raped due to the lower armor values , no sign bonus and slower stamina regeneration.

I'm playing on Death March with the enhanced Feline set with no points in quen and it's working very well.
Where do u invest ur skill points? I cant decide... I mean for sure Fast attack full tree but what else :(
Past lvl 30 there is nothing that can harm you anymore anyway, just run around naked and kill everything in 2 hits xD

Except that you can kill everything in seconds, armor value aren't that different (LoL I'm even using some low lvl gloves because they give crit chance despite that they have much lower protection than Feline set ones) and there is Tawny Owl potion if somehow you need fast stamina regeneration

I don't think my build will appeal to most people. My character is something of a glass cannon relying on dodge with fleet footed, which negates 100% damage while dodging at lvl 5. I still use quen but it's just a safety net in case I mistime a dodge and get hit. For signs, I've increased aard range and yrden duration for crowd control, and delusion for conversations. Everything else, I've dumped into fast and heavy attack related skills. Of course, I have the general skill for light armor which further increases attack.

How? As far as i know geralt has no natural defense that he gets when he levels up, only thing he can use is better gear, running naked with sword = 0 protection, pretty sure lvl 30 monster will kill you in 2-3 hits

i currently kill enemys in 2 hits on easy and 4 on dm at lvl 37 with a 417-523 dmg harpy sword, they dont even get the chance to hit me xD. Stone trolls take the most with 8+ hits but they usually take "cover" after a hit and dont hit back.

I think you get around 60 vitality per level.

Yes it does increase slightly each level. I have over 5.5k at lvl 12 cause I'm Full Metal Alchemist.

Er I meant I put points in Alchemy Tree and use Green mutagen. With more points I can get like 7-8k easily...

In my opinion the Heavy Armour is most useless on DM against higher level monsters because they receive bonus damage like 3 times for red skull.
