How do I reveal where side quests are?

Hello. I was wanting to know how I should go about looking for secondary quests. I'm only in the 2nd part of the game (In Velen) and I trying to grind levels before continuing, but I'm having trouble finding the side quests. It seems the only way I've come across them is by exploring the roads and towns. Is there an easier way to know where to look for side quests that I'm missing? Or is exploring the map the only way to reveal them? I know I can do contracts, but a lot o the contracts I've picked up so far are WAY above my current level, so I'm trying to find side quests, not contracts. All of the contract boards are displayed on my map, but not side quests. Why?

Yeah, explore and know that some sidequests will only appear once you're a certain level or have done other things in the world.

PS. Normal game progression does not seem to be designed for you completing every possible side quest.

Just accept everything at notice boards, and then explore the "locations of interest"

That's a shame about completing every single side quest. I would totally do that before progressing. I've only done about 2 or 3 story missions, but I've put in 14 hours lol
