TL;DR - Why every Witcher had unique "insignia" scar face right trough one of the eye ?
Play all Witcher games, but never read the novel or the comic. In-game trivia that we can read it, I never pay attention to it. So be merciful, tell me why they had unique scar style ?

And if you pay attention to Letho Gulet, he had the scar on the forehead. He came from Snake School, and is that their unique scar face too ?

Note : I can easily find the answer by googling it, but want people discuss in here and new players to the title know the answer too.

If you've honestly played the previous two games, you'd know that not all Witchers have scars. Vesemir, Berengar, Auckes and Serrit are four examples.

it's not a scar that's made with a purpose, it's just that something happened, a claw or a sword swing not quite avoided. Geralt without his shirt is filled with scars, bite marks, acid burns, arrows. Comes with the job.

It isn't mandatory, but if you fight monsters for a living you're bound to get a couple of facial scars. A lot of the scars on Geralts body are actually from stuff that happened or was mentioned in the books, which is kinda cool.

Honestly, I play all witcher and finish them all. I swear my penis & peanuts being cutted right now if I'm lying.

But yeah, Vesemir didn't have the scar, my bad.
But who's the hell Berengar, Aucker and Serrit ? Cause when I play TW1, I'm not very fond to remember the characters yet, and it was happen way many years ago. And I only play TW1 one time finish only.

Vesemir does have a scare on his chin (small tho)
Your'e not a real witcher until you get clawed in the face.

As told it comes with the calling of being a witcher. But Vesemir does have a scar on his face. Above left eye if Im correct. A small one compare to Geralt. Dont know the origins.

Witchers generally have two skills that come with their mutations. First of them, is obviously ploughing wenches, second is killing monsters. Now the second skill, unlike the first one that comes naturally, requires a lot of time and practice, therefore some young and hot headed witchers who don't know how to properly kill, may try to plough monsters instead. For example Eskel was only 17 when he fell in love with an alghoul.
