He's scripted to hypnotize you when you get close, then run away to his nest. Try standing in front of him.

No, i mean really it's a bug. He's got no hp now but no matter how hard I cut and slash him, how many bombs I throw and even burn him with igni, he's not dying

When you 1st fight him and get him bellow half hp he hypnotise you and runs away... did he do it in this fight or did you dpsed him too fast and he is stuck in the 1st fight? In the 2nd part right at the end it seemed like he tried to hypnotise me again with his 3rd eye going red, but I killed him then.

No, he didn't try to run away. Possibly, I didn't gave him a chance since I danced around him unceasingly all the time. It's exactly like tuordiel said, the bаstard's trying to hypnotize me without any effect, 0 hp. Maybe I'll try to make him escape later, see what happens.

I got a fix, I just ran away from battle, and he ran into some hideout. I followed him and killed him

Guys, this was really annoying for me, but to fix this, you just need to follow witcher senses first, so find body, get clues, then bestiary will pop up with what you will be dealing, then he'll be able to gaze you. Took me many attempts changing gear (i thought i was killing him too fast, he was bleeding like 1k per second from my sword), so I switched to something less godly (even though my difficulty is Broken bones), anyway, I think it is bug, but can be avoided

Think the whole point is that he is supposed to be immortal until you break the curse, and you cant break it the first time you fight him

Hey. im having this trouble to exept for me he WONT hypnotize me at all. even when at 1/3 health left.

HE keeps showing his 3rd eye and the screen rummbles but nothing will happen and the bleeding effect of my sword then makes him go to 0hp and unkillabel

I don't know i just fed him a pc. of his own flesh and he died. Maybe that was a different quest but if this is the cursed werewolf one, then try that.

Got similar trouble, but when I realize something fishy, I step back and wait for his movement, suddenly he release the Hypnotize then moment latter he vanish. Try not to attack him brutally.
