I think i'm even feeling the same depressive feelings i have after plowing through a good book.
It's quite a horrible feeling i must add.
[MAJOR SPOILER BELOW!!!!]
I made a backup of the savegame just before you head towards the final battle, where i have nearly all the characters on the large boat. I load that just to see them.
Honestly considering loading that one, doing all sidequests on THAT ONE and never actually bothering with the main mission anymore.
I sorta don't want it to end.
Naz.
Thats actually a really good idea now that I think of it. Im going to do that later tonight :). *Tips hat*
I honestly was loosing interest to do any of the missions anymore but it should be better knowing that the characters actually exist somewhere on the map. Still dont fully understand why they had to remove them though especially with this being the last game in the series. Why not do a little fan service I mean jeesh not much to ask for right?
Prime.
No longer in game though, so that leaves me with a hole where enjoyment used to reside.
Not really the point. Wed like to see them in the world regardless. Take for instance the ending I got. Ciri goes to the nilfguards to become a queen. You should be able to visit her and see how shes doing even if its just another dialogue option. My ending also showed Geralt with yennefer in a small cottage. Why didnt the end game just start from that tiny cottage with Yen. Hardly think its much to ask for from the devs. Doubt its even difficult coding wise to do that either. Me being a huge witcher fan expected to see more closure and completion out of the ending of Geralts adventure thats all. And yea Naz, honestly I dont even mind paying for these expansions I have faith they will be worth the coin.
They should really do an Extended Edition, like they did with the first two games, and add an post-game world state which changes based on what choices you made, and contains all the important characters(maybe even some extra missions to give you a feeling that things go on: a monster hunting contract with Ciri for example). I would even pay for that.
I would welcome that completely.
