where can i get a monster egg?
need monster egg real bad

probably easy one would be off wyvern in hilly/mountain areas. Depends on your level really, the medium sized monsters tend to start at around lv 10. Could also try harpies, some of those near swamp..

monster egg somehow is different than the eggs I get?? He probably needs it for special witcher gear swords/armour

I'm a dumbass it didn't even occur to me to dismantle it; confirmed you can just dismantle any egg into monster egg
