"now or never" broken
Triss decided to use that big brain of hers to get stuck walking into a wall, and there's no way to restart a quest from checkpoint. So, I'm stuck either straying too far from her or waiting until the end of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. What do I do?

Oh, and you can't push friendly NPCs.
Nor can you meditate. No way to die of fall damage, and no hostile NPCs either.

didn't have one. i just walked away. hope it won't take away from Triss's relationship later. if it does, ♥♥♥♥ The Witcher.

Having the same issue. I got spoiled and it does in fact mess up the relationship if you don't finish it. Guess I'll be mothballing this until they fix it, 40+ hours into a game and I get stuck now. Un ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ believable.

As far as this goes, I've reloaded it from multiple points and replayed it quite a few times. Every single time she runs into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ banister. Any actual solutions?

Had an issue where I went to a door we had to go through, but decided to just quickly step back and loot some more.
This led to Triss going forward and standing in the doorway, meaning I couldn't pass her at all.

Had to load a previous save a few minutes back. Only option, sadly :)

Solved it: https://youtu.be/uC1qQEP_HDs -- the save isn't important, going in this direction is.

I have a workaround that I kinda stumbled on myself. I am not sure of the particulars that I was able to get it to work but here is a video showing what happened. In case it does matter, I have the upgraded skill that gives you the ability to mind control the targets that you use the confuse sign on. I don't know if that is important but here is what I did to fix it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7EVi0OVn6g&feature=youtu.be

Step 1: Summon Roach
Step 2: Get Roach into the house. Yea odd I know but if you get him to the door and confuse him then he will path toward you when it wears off.
Step 3: Get roach next to our Mage Tress, of the order of the infinate wallrun. Face him towrard our lovely companion and dismount.
Step 4: Confuse both Roach. Hopefully Roach will roam forward and push her past the point where pathfinding is clipping with the wall / railing or whatever and get Ms. Sorenoggin Wallrunintoin fixed. I had to do this from some distance away as it seems that you have a certain near distance that you can not use signs if friendly NPCs are the target. Thankfully the confuse sign is longer range than this bounding area.

If this works HARD SAVE YOUR GAME!

Why I think this worked:
Roach AI just seems to give no mind about anyone else than you as long as he is not in combat and gives him priority over other MOB entities. I have seen Roach pathfind through buildings to keep in follow distance.(He seems to say put when you dismount but if you whistle again he will follow you to the ends of the earth.

I have no idea if this is repeatable. I will try later since I have that new save game slot to fall back on if it isn't.

Hope this helps!
just go to the place you are supposed to meet her, and she will be there.

All you need to do is to load a save before you speak with her, then run away for about 150 feet and go back. Worked for me just fine. I think it's about Triss spawning in the wrong place.

Except it didn't work when people did that, hence my video.

Take off all your armor, and then try hatch a lit grenade like it is a chicken egg?

This actually worked for me. Triss was stuck right at the edge of Berthold's front door on the inside. I did things a little differently than what you described, but you were the one that gave me the inspiration. All I did was somehow manage to squeeze roach through the front door after climbing up the small stairs leading up to it, walk back outside leaving Roach crammed inside with five other people, whistled for Roach twice since the first time didn't work, and watched Triss pop right out the front door :D.
