this won't help them. They don't rage because there's reason to do. But because the love to troll and get a reason to "not pay to play the game".
Purely in visual terms, PS4 and Xbox One miss out on PC's ultra-grade settings in several areas, but the game still looks complete on each. At its core, REDengine 3 drives a high level of foliage detail on console - perhaps the greatest density of plant-life since the original Crysis, rendering trees in at a surprisingly long range. Factoring in time of day, weather systems and rolling clouds, The Witcher 3's physically-based lighting model also impresses, with shadows spread dynamically from each swaying branch, and light shafts flitting between each leaf. In the right light, the final result helps even the bleakest points in No Man's Land's marshes to achieve a great sense of atmosphere.
But it all comes down to the deveoplers to make the PC version look and perform better, but sadly most devs don't make PC versions of games stand out from the crowd. They do applie better textures and other DX features but these are mostly minor
(I believe) the last game too make full use of a PC graphics power was Crysis back in 2007 and we all know how gamers reacted to that game back them (bugs, broken, can't run game, bad FPS etc), tons of hate.
Agreed. never seem a game who do better at this than W3.
You can feel it's noon or dusk, that rain is coming, the slow chaging of the weather.. it's really well done.
This game isn't great because of its graphics, its great because its gameplay/story/scale. But its nice to have good looking visuals also. It would have been nice to be playing the ver from that trailer 2 years ago but honestly most including myself wouldn't have the gpu power to get there
