triss or yen , who are you picking ?

i want to pick triss because she's hot , but then and again the only reason the thing between her and geralt happened was because he lost his memroy and she tricked him . so i kind of want to pick yen because she was always his true love . anyone in here read the books , can i get some more backstory ?

Its quite simple. If you like making love in public spaces go for Triss,, if you like doing it on top of a Unicorn go with Yen.

I noticed the lack of dialogue and stoy outside of quests elsewhere, too, but nowhere as glaring as with Triss.

Honestly, feels as if the writers were like "Ok, boring love-of-your-life quest finished, let's get back to Geralt punching things! That chick was boring the hell outta me".
Which, I guess, could be the case but then I'd rather not have Triss in the game at all.

Another thing that bothered me: You cant even talk to others about her. For example, during the Skellige storywise-but-not-in-questlog-main quest where you help Cerys and Hjalmar Cerys talks about Yen all the time and you cant tell her that it's over, you love another woman. When Yen harasses you about sleeping with Triss in Kaer Morhen you can act like a douche, apologize or make the valid-but-ignored point of your amnesia... but you cant explain that you really do love Triss, totally without any sort of Djinn magic.
When Lambert brings up Yen you can at least tell him that you arent together, but you cant mention Triss either....

Totally and without any sort of dijnn magic, true but Triss used magic of her own to ensnare Geralt. She used him like crazy, basically just sexually abused him, having sex with him when she knew it was against his will. She tricked him into believing they'd always been lovers. She lied when she promised to help him regain his memories when she was in the best position to do so since Yen was her best friend and she'd been like a big sister to Ciri. She never once mentioned either of them to him in a full year that they were together.

Why the hell would anyone think that was true love? Would you be cool with some guy hitting on a girl, she says no, she's not interested and then she gets amnesia and he takes full advantage of her, convincing her that they were lovers? Is that okay with you? If not, then why the hell is okay when you're playing Geralt? I know Yen cut off his balls long ago but still, he has to has some freaking self-respect left, doesn't he?

Triss is the real douche here. Yen is a b!tch. Now that we've correctly labeled then, let's move on, shall we?

The way I see it he wouldn't fall for her lies unless he either already had repressed feelings, or changed his mind along with forgetting some things.

I mean, imagine you were in his position and some chick would tell you you used to be lovers - would you just be like "well, ok, let's have sex then!"?

Probably not, unless you actually consciously WANT to have sex with her.
