My guess if your trying to make a grapeshot. I had the same problem i couldn't find the stuff anywhere your best off just keeping an eye out a lot of alchemy vendors sell it so i would suggest buying it

I bought it. I don't remember if in the first village you visit at the tavern, or from the herbalist girl nearby.

Alrihgt, look for it in shops. It doesn't grow, since Calcium Equum is a mineral, from the looks of it, not a flower.

Where? I've already made it through the 'meeting the emperor' part, and entered Velen. Thanks to that, the herbalist in the first area, and the innkeeper, no longer appear. Where can I get it now?

Well it sounds like some powder so no growing ofc :) Alchemist vendor's your best guess. Looting containers might've it too. Dismantling right stuff could also work.

i couldn't access Tomira and couldn't find any herbalist that sells it. However I tried my luck with a shopkeeper in Novigrad and he sold one.

Or if you need more than one,
