Upgrading Potions and Bomb?

No one says anything about that at any wiki or guide, how is that possible? 20 sec swallow is just the worst.

Ok, that means you can upgrade via skills pfft.

You find pages and whatnot around in chests and some mobs. That upgrade potions, oils, bombs. The lot.

You get swallow. And you get enhanced swallow. And i think you can even get a Superior swallow. Might even be a relic version. That i do not know. Ive only got regular, enhanced swallow and superior black blood myself.

All requiring the previous potion

As people said, best way is to look for the recipes of the enhanced potions. Also, reading helps sometimes :P Every single skillpoint spent in the alchemy branch of the skilltree makes potions last 5% longer. Means, if you upgrade a single skill in alchemy to 5/5, that's already 25% longer potion effects.
Btw, that goes for everything in the alchemy part. Spend points for oils, bombs... anything in there, really. Each and every point will give you the 5% bonus. So, if you don't want to deal with short duration potions, start looking around for recipes and better smack some points into alchemy :)

One of the skill give you infinite potion duration as long as toxicity is above 1 if I recall correctly.

Yeah, i found recipe for upgraded potion, but i didnt craft the normal one, and normal recipe just dissapeared, so i have the upgraded one, but i cant craft the basic potion.
What now ?

You can upgrade potions to Enhanced and then again to Superior. (Unknown if there are further upgrades myself, haven't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that far.)

There's a Halfing Herbalist North East of Oxenfurt that sell almost all basic bombs and potions recipe. There's another Dwarven Herbalist in South Eastern corner of Novigrad that sell quite a large selection of Enhanced bombs and Potions.

I just effectively spent about 3500 gold raiding these Herbalist recipe. Now Geralt is a poor sod.

How is that enchanted swallow have extended duration? It's still 20 sec?? When is it gonna have extended duration?

I think duration is extended only trough alchemy skills.
Better potions should increase the power only ...

This is a really dumb question but its bothering me, does the potion duration increasing from all abilities impact Decoctions as well? I would assume they would because they are themselves potions?

I think every skill in alchemy tree has it in description ... +5% duration
