Can't get it from that herbalist, it's a quest reward from the quest near her. She doesn't sell it. Still looking for a spot if the quest is too late and Keira is unavailable.

I got it from a herbalist in Novigrad, I think. I also got a ton of manuscripts in the sewers in the last part of the Triss questline.

The place is in Novigrad, you go there as part of the main quest.

Poster didn't say Vesemir died, he said Vesemir got burned. To anyone not familiar with the story, that could mean almost anything -.minor injury, major injury, death. The only people posting spoilers are the ones complaining about spoilers.

so iv spent an entire week looking for this the prison you brake into on Oxenfurt
during the quest "The Great Escape
it will be in the tower in the northern corner of the prisons gaurd walk way walls, NOT THE WARDENS OFFICE. i hope to help many more players with this as it is quite an elusive item depending on choices made in the game \
