Report a translation problem
first one is overworld map, 2nd is the door you need to knock on. if you cant interact with that door then you can not meet with her yet.

ps: you need to make the right choices in both the main storyline when you meet her during it(she will be a part of it a LOT) and during her personal quest to romance her. the right choice is to basically go for it. no half assing it and no pretending to not actually care about her.
im still trying to piece together why for the last two games ive been hardcore romancing her, I jump into this game only to find out Ive been surreptitiously dumped into 'friend' territory. Kind of a let down
I think youre right, but I wish they put a little more emphasis on this transitioning - geared for new players or not, she was a very important character in the first two and should have more story/scenes linking 2 to 3. Then again, who knows maybe cover all that farther into the game
